one by one

Well the past few weeks the night clubs been too busying racin' for this bloggin'. But I figure there should be an update for our few fans. Since the road warrior race, we've been following the wvmba series and made it to an ultra race down near enemy lines, or harrisonburg. Charlie was sighted but was on neutral ground for the massanutten race I guess. We were a little curious about the woman offering the night before, thinking she was tryin' to sabotage us for keeping us up all night.

The next weekend was one of the biggest races of theyear, 24 hours of big bear. Our plan from the start was to try and race 5 men expert. And the massanutten results were the tryouts for the order. The night before lairds volunteers didn't realize that there wasn't such a category. So while most of the team was gettin' their grub from little sandy, laird was on a man hunt for a night clubber. We've gotten used to that and eventually sorted things out and raced just for fun.

LB & Christophe doin' their pre-race ritual of bike maintenance

overall the course was pretty sweet, and not nearly as mucky as last year. And there weren't any mechanicals the whole time but then again, we all are on singlespeeds. We also had a final duke it out at the very end for the 2nd spot. But juan was able to hold on to our position and we finished 2nd overall.

This past weekend was the bike festival at appy classic. Me and LB were the only ones to do the 2 saturday races 'cause of several issues with the other clubbers.Benji havin' his elbow all chewed up with deep pain but he still managed to witness the lefty flip. But this wasn't no ordinary lefty flip, it was the best one I've ever seen and I've seen alot myself

Sunday was the XC and it was ex officio wiedpoor's first race back from his collarbone injury. Seems like he's feelin' better which is good 'cause it'll be a long day at the wayne coming up.
